Conan Exiles - A few console commands to make your game look much better.

Here's how to make Funcom's newest game Conan Exiles look a little bit better. Assuming you have a beast of a computer!

First of all you need to know how to turn on the game's console. To do that, you need to press the "`" button on your keyboard. (it's next to #1, above the tab key)

If you did it correctly, a tiny bar should appear at the bottom of your screen.

Now all you need is to type the correct commands in the console window.

*note that the changes are not persistent, they will reset when you close the game*

Here's a few of them:

  • toggledebugHUD - Will show ping / fps and player count
  • shot - Captures a screenshot and saves it inside the game's installation folder
  • show Fog - Toggles the fog in the distance. You can now see way further.
  • show Particles - Toggles on/off particles like camp fires or dust being blown by the wind
  • show Bloom - Toggles bloom effect on/off
  • show Ambient Occlusion - Toggles AO lighting effect on/off
  • show AntiAliasing - Toggles AA on/off
  • r.AmbientOcclusionRadiusScale - Change the AO radius by adding a number after the command
  • r.AmbientOcclusionLevels - Add a number to change the AO level
  • r.Shadow.DistanceScale - Improve or lower the shadow quality for items in the distance. Add a number
  • grass.densityScale - Adjust the density for grass rendered on your view distance. Add a number to it

There's hundreds more but we have no idea what they do, they're mostly there for more experienced users / developers

Here's all of them in case you are wondering.

If you find what any of them does, let us know!
